Terms of use

By creating an account or using Revrse, you agree to these terms. If you're using Revrse on behalf of an organization, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that organization to them.

Revrse is a platform run by WithNature Institute & Foundation, a Section 8 non-profit company registered in India. It helps you structure a sustainability project, strengthen it through AI-assisted coaching, record and verify evidence of your results, and get matched with funders. It is not a funder itself, does not guarantee funding, and does not replace independent professional advice — safety-critical or legally significant claims should be checked with a qualified person.

WithNature also runs education programmes and competitions for schools and colleges — for example an annual eco-club programme and a sustainability build challenge. These are separate from the platform: they carry fees, they are governed by section 9 below, and taking part in one is never required in order to use Revrse.

You need an account to create or manage a project, and you must be at least 18 years old to hold one. A younger person can still take part — through the account of a parent, guardian, teacher, or institution who accepts these terms and supervises the work. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you submit and for keeping your account credentials secure.

You own what you create on Revrse — your project description, claims, and evidence. By submitting it, you grant Revrse a license to store, process, and display it as needed to run the service, consistent with the visibility you choose (private, platform, or public) and your privacy settings described in our privacy policy.

You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload — photos, documents, or data — and for not uploading anything you don't have permission to share.

The value of Revrse depends entirely on its records being honest. You agree not to submit fabricated, staged, or materially misleading evidence, and not to attempt to manipulate the verification or trust scoring system. Verified status can be revoked and accounts can be suspended where we find evidence of this.

Parts of Revrse — comprehension of your project, coaching questions, a proposed verification plan, draft reports — are generated by AI. This output is scaffolding, not fact: it is always shown to you for confirmation before it becomes part of your record, and it does not itself constitute a verified claim. AI can be wrong; you're responsible for reviewing what you accept.

If you use Revrse to evaluate or fund projects, you agree to use information you access only for legitimate diligence, reporting, and funding decisions, and not to redistribute non-public project data beyond your organization without the creator's consent.

Using Revrse is free for the people doing the work — you never pay to create, develop, or verify a project on the platform. Separately, WithNature runs programmes and competitions for schools and colleges which do carry fees; those fees are for the programme itself and are published before you sign up. Entering one is never required in order to use Revrse.

A donation is a voluntary gift to WithNature Institute & Foundation, the Section 8 non-profit that runs the platform.

You can give in two ways: a general donation that supports WithNature and the platform, or a gift directed by preference to a particular project. A project-directed gift expresses a preference — WithNature retains full discretion over how the funds are used. It is not held in trust for you or for the project, and creates no legal claim or right to direct the money.

Where a gift is directed to a project, WithNature aims to release funds to that work as its milestones are independently verified on the platform. Release remains at WithNature's discretion and is not guaranteed on any particular timeline or amount.

A transparent cost-recovery deduction may apply: a general donation carries only the payment-gateway cost, while a project-directed gift also carries a modest platform share toward the cost of running verification and disbursement. Any deduction is disclosed to you at the time you give.

Donations are not currently eligible for a tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income-tax Act. We are pursuing the necessary registration and will update this page if and when it is granted; only gifts made on or after the effective date of any such registration could qualify.

A donation is a gift, not an investment. It confers no ownership, equity, security, interest, repayment, or financial return, and no goods or services are provided in exchange.

Donations are non-refundable. If a genuine processing error occurs — a duplicate charge, or an amount that is clearly wrong — contact us promptly and we will review it in good faith. Online payments are handled by our payment processor (Razorpay) under their own terms; we never receive your full card or bank details.

Separately from the platform, WithNature runs education programmes and competitions for schools, colleges and their students. This section governs those. Where it conflicts with another section, this one applies to programme participation.

Fees. Every programme and competition publishes its fee before you sign up, and the fee covers that programme only — never verification, and never any outcome. Paying a fee does not buy a place, a rank, a level of proof, or a favourable result of any kind. Fees are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

Cancellation and refunds. A competition may set a minimum number of entries needed for it to run. If we do not reach it, or if we cancel a programme before it begins, entry fees are refunded in full. Once a programme or competition has begun, fees are non-refundable, except where a genuine processing error has occurred — contact us and we will review it in good faith.

Judging and results. Judging criteria are published in advance. Decisions of the judges and of WithNature on eligibility, scoring, disqualification and results are final. Entries found to be plagiarised, recycled from another competition, or supported by fabricated evidence may be disqualified at any stage, including after an award is announced.

Prizes. Where a prize pool is expressed as a share of entry revenue, that share is published before entry and is calculated on net revenue actually received. Prizes are paid to verified winners after identity checks, and recipients are responsible for any tax arising on them. Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternative is offered unless we say so.

Your work stays yours. You keep full ownership of everything you create for a competition — your idea, your design, your code, your build. WithNature claims no ownership of it and no licence to commercialise it. By entering, you grant us permission only to store and assess your submission, and to name you and describe your entry when announcing and reporting on results.

Programme materials. Activity packs, teacher guides, question papers and similar materials we supply remain ours. A participating school or college may use and copy them freely for its own students for as long as it is enrolled, but may not resell them or pass them to another institution.

Students and supervision. Where participants are under 18, a school, college, parent or guardian must supervise their participation and is responsible for obtaining the consents described in our privacy policy. Students never hold accounts of their own.

Safety. Programme activities are designed to be carried out with ordinary household or school materials under adult supervision. The supervising institution or guardian remains responsible for the safety of the people taking part.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or manipulated evidence
• Attempt to bypass the verification or approval workflow
• Misuse the donation flow, or attempt to launder or misrepresent the source of funds
• Interfere with or overload the service (scraping at scale, denial-of-service, credential stuffing)
• Use Revrse to harass, defraud, or impersonate another person or organization
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the platform’s underlying models or source code beyond what’s publicly available

Revrse is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance. We'll try to avoid breaking changes to your existing records.

Revrse is provided "as is." We work to make comprehension, coaching, and verification as accurate as possible, but we don't guarantee that AI-generated output is error-free, that funding matches will result in funding, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

To the extent permitted by law, Revrse and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on AI-generated output or funding decisions made on the basis of information accessed through Revrse.

You may stop using Revrse and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly around evidence integrity (Section 5).

Revrse is operated by WithNature Institute & Foundation, a Section 8 company registered in India. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We'll update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and post meaningful changes here before they take effect.
